15 hours
15 funded hours a week for eligible 2-year-olds, including families receiving certain additional support.
All 3 & 4-year-olds
Every 3 and 4-year-old is entitled to 15 funded hours a week, whether or not their parents work.
Working 3 & 4-year-olds
Eligible working parents of 3 and 4-year-olds can claim up to 30 funded hours a week, taken term-time or stretched across the year.
Top-up scheme
The government adds £2 for every £8 you pay into a Tax-Free Childcare account — up to £2,000 per child a year (£4,000 if your child is disabled).
From birth
Families on Universal Credit can claim back up to 85% of their childcare costs, and this support can apply from birth.
Funding eligibility, hours and amounts depend on your circumstances and current government rules. Eden Childcare Group is not a funding authority — we will help you check what applies to your family and point you to the official guidance.
We'll help you claim
Tell us your child's age, the days you need and your situation. We will talk you through which funded hours and schemes you are likely to qualify for, and how they combine — so you know your real costs before you decide.
