From Philomena

The kind of nursery I'd
leave my own child at.

I started as an Ofsted-registered childminder because I wanted to give children the same care I'd want for my own: safe, warm, personal, and consistent. Over more than 12 years in early years, that same standard has shaped the way Eden works.

Eden Childcare Group brings that experience across its nurseries, with dedicated rooms, trained teams, safeguarding and SENCO knowledge, and close communication with families.

Come and meet us. Bring your child if you can.

— Philomena Sadia, Founder

In Their Own Words

What parents say.

5.0 average across 3+ verified reviews

Philomena is the warmest, most attentive person we've handed our daughter to. She came home knowing new words, new songs, more confident. We never worried for a second.

My hours are unpredictable and Philomena made it work without ever making us feel like an inconvenience. The progress in our son's speech in six months was incredible.

What you actually want from childcare: a person who notices everything, communicates clearly, and treats your child like one of their own. That's Philomena — now with a proper nursery behind her.

Before You Book

Questions, answered.

The questions families ask most. If yours isn't here, message the Eden team and we'll help.

Eden cares for children from 15 months to 4 years. Available rooms vary by nursery: Croydon, Streatham and Rochester offer toddler and pre-school care, while Holden Park is pre-school only.

The Streatham nursery operated by Edenchildcare Ltd is registered with Ofsted under URN 2811658 for full day care on non-domestic premises. When you enquire, the team can confirm the registration details relevant to your chosen nursery.

Support may include funded hours from 9 months for eligible working parents, 2-year-old funding, 15 or 30 hours for 3 and 4-year-olds, Tax-Free Childcare and Universal Credit childcare support. Tell us your child's age and circumstances; we'll explain how funding applies at your nursery and point you to the official eligibility checks.

Opening hours vary by nursery. Eden Streatham is open Monday to Friday, 7am to 7pm, while Holden Park closes at 6pm. Ask the team to confirm the current hours for Croydon or Rochester.

English, French and Arabic are spoken across the team. This helps many families communicate comfortably and gives children familiar words as they settle in.

Eden welcomes conversations about autism, ADHD, speech and language differences, allergies, asthma and other needs. Tell us about your child before booking so the nursery team can explain how they can support them safely.

Daily routines vary by nursery and age group, but usually include child-led play, guided early-years activities, movement or outdoor time, meals or snacks, rest and a handover with parents. Your nursery team will explain the routine for your child's room.

Call or WhatsApp the Eden team on 07861 763 780, or use the enquiry form. Tell us your nearest nursery, your child's age and the days you need, and we'll help arrange a suitable visit.

Start dates depend on the nursery, your child's room and the days you need. Contact the team for current availability; once a place is agreed, they'll explain the settling-in plan before your child's first full day.
