Seven years of childminding,
rebuilt as a proper nursery.
Philomena trained as a CACHE Level 3 home-based childminder and spent seven years caring for children across Croydon — newborns through after-school, often the same families across multiple children. Her Ofsted-registered profile has held a five-star rating throughout, and she's a member of PACEY with full DBS, paediatric first aid, and safeguarding qualifications.
She's worked with children across the spectrum — including autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and complex medical considerations like epilepsy. The thing parents say most often is that she notices everything.

How We Work
Our principles
A small group, on purpose
We're not a chain and we don't want to be. Small enough that every child is known by every member of staff — big enough to give each age its own room, ratio, and rhythm.
Multilingual from day one
English, French and Arabic spoken across the team. Children who hear their home language in the room settle faster, learn more, and arrive home feeling at ease.
Inclusive without exception
Children with autism, ADHD, speech and language differences, allergies, asthma — every one of them welcome. Our founder has worked across the spectrum since 2018; complexity doesn't faze us.
Founder-led, every day
Philomena is in the building. She knows your child's name, your pickup time, the thing that makes them laugh. The person on your tour is the person who looks after your child.

Edenchildcare Ltd is registered with Ofsted (URN 2811658, registered 03 February 2025) for childcare on non-domestic premises, full day care, in the Lambeth local authority.
Newly registered — first inspection scheduled within 30 months per Ofsted policy.
